This little ripper Lesmurdie home next to the Lesmurdie Falls precinct is ready to say hello to its new family. Built in the mid 1970s, it's been well cared for over the years and has had a bit of sprucing up now and then but now just needs some TLC to bring it back to its glory. It really has the potential to be a spectacular home with spaces for the whole family. Plans will be shown at the home opens that have been drawn up for a large extension. With easy side access and a large block, the potential is excellent!
With 4 bedrooms, 1 newly renovated bathroom, gym/activity on the side of the house, mixed living space, separate dining and a ginormous undercover alfresco there's lots of space here for a starter or growing family. Also to mention is the lush lawn ready for the kids to run circles around.
Year-round comfort is guaranteed with a split system aircon. Outdoor dining will be the norm – and the kitchen looks directly out to the backyard. Set up a drink’s fridge, pizza oven, ping pong table, a speaker or two and some fairy lights, and you're set for some serious entertaining.

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
The suburb has two shopping centres in the area including Lesmurdie Village on Sanderson Road and the Lesmurdie Road Shopping Centre on the corner of Rooth Rd and Lesmurdie Rd. There are three primary schools including Lesmurdie Primary School, Falls Road Primary School and St Brigid's, and also three high schools including Lesmurdie Senior High School, Mazenod College for boys and St Brigid's College for girls.
