Tyford House

Tyford house originally constructed around 1880 was the home stead for a large pastoral property , the produce was transport to the newly establish Port Of Denison and so began its journey.
It has been home to only 3 families from what I can see , a full history is available from the National Trust Of Australia Code 20 22 Ref.No.241.
Two houses exist on the site and would have a variety of applications from perhaps B&B, to any number of other uses , sheds are large and powered (3 phase available )
the land area has potential subdivision possibilities into the future .
It is located very close to Dongara Town Center schools etc. .
Walking into this home is a real treat, its has so many stories to tell , and does feel very comfortable , please call for an inspection without delay ,, 0428247823

Dongara overview

Dongara is a townsite near the mouth of the Irwin River, 351 kilometres north north-west of Perth. The area was first settled in the early 1850s, and government buildings were erected in the townsite area in the late 1860s and early 1870s. There is no actual gazettal date for the townsite, but townsite lots were surveyed in 1873, and government land sales were held here in 1877 and in the 1880s. For some time an alternative spelling of "Dongarra" was used, but Dongara was adopted as the official spelling in 1944. The name is the anglicised version of "Thungarra", an Aboriginal name referring to the mouth of the Irwin River. It is said to mean "place of the fur seal".
