If you've been side-eyeing Hills properties because they all seem to come with a never-ending list of weekend projects, youre about to be pleasantly surprised. Renovated from top to toe, right down (up?) to the roof, this property lets you skip straight to the good part: Hills life. Set on a sprawling block and wrapped in the kind of natural charm that makes this pocket so fiercely loved, this is a home designed for families who want to spread out without sacrificing a moment of modern comfort. Mornings start with visits from the resident bandicoots and birdsong, kids and their pups can speed across the lawn or up the bridle trail for long walks, then everyone can wander down to the legendary Mahogany Inn for a pint and chips, rather than standing in the Bunnings trade section questioning all your life choices.
The renovation inside has been thoughtfully executed to create a home that feels cohesive and contemporary. A wide entrance hallway sets the tone and leads into the heart of the home. Here, a stunning kitchen takes centre stage, pairing timeless white cabinetry with warm timber benchtops for a look that's equal parts farmhouse charm and modern sophistication. Open-plan living and dining spaces flow around it, so you'll always appreciate that central gathering place where homework can happen at one end of the bench and good conversations at the other (sometimes meeting in the middle!) The king-size main bedroom has lovely touches of luxury with a stylish ensuite, built-in robes, and generous proportions and the three additional extra-large bedrooms means no one is squabbling about getting the good room. They're all good, including one currently configured as a large home office.

Making the most of this gorgeous slice of heaven, the block here has been well designed for the good life. The large covered alfresco creates a natural extension of the interiors, beyond that, an enormous expanse of lawn stretches across the rear of the property, framed by mature trees including seventeen fruit trees so you can teach the kids all about sustainability and farm to plate concepts. Speaking of the children, the fact this great block is fully fenced means they can have mates over, chuck the ball for the dog, camp out in the back yard all with added peace of mind. Fresh gravel driveways at both the front and rear provide practical access to the workshop and loads of parking. Bring the trailer, caravan, boat, extra vehicles, or just never have to worry about everyone's plus ones popping over and playing parking tetris to get a spot. No renos. No wish lists. No projects. Just a beautifully finished home in one of the Hills prettiest spots.
Your family couldn't be more ready.

This suburb takes its name from Mahogany Creek, a picturesque tributary of Jane Brook which flows through the area. The creek was known by this name as early as 1830, and takes its name from the towering forest through which it flowed (mahogany was the early colonial name for Jarrah). This place is well known from "The Old Mahogany Inn" located here, an early colonial wayside inn, formerly known as the "Prince of Wales" Inn. The area was developed as orchard land in the 1890's, and a railway stopping place was established here in 1891.
Mahogany Creek is located within the Perth Hills and is part of the Shire of Mundaring. Facilities include Brown Park Main Hall, Mahogany Creek Hall and Danny Wimperus Reserve including a kids playground. This suburb is a close drive to Mundaring Village Shopping Centre and relies on neighbouring suburbs for primary and secondary schools.Â
