AUCTION HAS ENDED - WINNING BID $699,000

Fresh to the market, this 1998-built Rod Triplett home, constructed in an era where they were built to last.

Combined with the outstanding location, in highly sought after Eaton, within walking distance to Eaton Fair shopping centre, Lofthouse Park at the end of the street, this spacious 183 m²* home is sure to impress.

So much parking, with a triple concrete driveway that then leads down the side of the oversized double garage, through the caravan/boat port, and the concrete drive leads to your enormous powered 11 x 6 m* workshop.

Did I mention the extensive outdoor area boasting over 40 m²* of patio area? Then tucked behind, the perfect size backyard for the kids or pets to play safely.

This fabulous home has a practical layout, with a massive lounge/theatre room at the front of the home. Off to the right, the master bedroom is a spacious room with a walk-in robe, a separate ensuite, and a big window looking out over the front yard.

Through to the open plan living, the expansive space offers tiled floors that flow from front to back, a big family room opposite the kitchen, with the meals area off to the left, where you will find the shoppers' access from the garage. The kitchen boasts a dishwasher, stainless steel 900mm freestanding stove, a big corner pantry, and just the right amount of space to work in.

Down the hallway, all 3 bedrooms offer double built-in robes, carpeted floors, and share easy access to the master bathroom with a bath, shower, and of course, a separate toilet off the hallway. I love the laundry being located off the living area instead of near the kid's bedrooms. It's a great space with room for a spare fridge/freezer, whatever you need, and easy access to outside too.

Eaton overview

Eaton is a suburban area located on the banks of the Collie River six kilometres from Bunbury. In 1949 the island in the Collie River opposite Eaton was named Eaton Island, because its original name, Alexander Island, was duplicated. Eaton was nominated by the Bunbury Road Board in honour of Mr Foster Eaton, the late fisheries and game inspector for this area. The name was given in recognition of work he had done in the area. When urban development was commenced in the area in 1951, it was at first referred to as the Collie River Estate, but was soon changed to Eaton due to its proximity to Eaton Island.
