Original, one owner from new, 1990 built family home set in one of Lesmurdie's more private and peaceful locations - nestled alongside the gorgeous Lesmurdie Brook that winds its way through the suburb, passing only a select few properties, until it meanders its way down through Munday Regional Park where it splashes and tumbles its way over the magnificent Lesmurdie Falls - highest waterfall in the Darling Scarp.
Split level in design with high gloss slate flooring and NEW CARPETS throughout, this large family home has 4 fabulous bedrooms (4th doubles as a study), 2 sparkling bathrooms and living and entertaining areas that are perfect for your family's enjoyment!
The step-down formal lounge and dining rooms are just enormous, light and bright, with feature brickwork and soaring high raked timber ceilings, both having sensational peaceful outlooks over the side garden area and extensive terraced rose gardens, as well as the gorgeous brook with its tall poplar trees, towering tree ferns, lazy weeping willows and babbling waters.
The kitchen (whilst a bit dated), it expansive in size and encompasses a large meals area and it overlooks and accesses the enormous family / entertaining area - high raked ceilings and feature brick again, slow combustion fire and extensive floor to ceiling windows overlooking the side and rear garden areas.

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
The suburb has two shopping centres in the area including Lesmurdie Village on Sanderson Road and the Lesmurdie Road Shopping Centre on the corner of Rooth Rd and Lesmurdie Rd. There are three primary schools including Lesmurdie Primary School, Falls Road Primary School and St Brigid's, and also three high schools including Lesmurdie Senior High School, Mazenod College for boys and St Brigid's College for girls.
