Refined Street Front Living with Standalone Appeal

End Date Sale - Absolutely ALL OFFERS to be presented by Monday 3rd August 2026 at 4pm unless sold prior.

Thoughtfully renovated interiors, a private north-easterly garden and the ease of single-level living come together in this beautifully updated Maylands residence. Occupying a preferred street-front position with its own driveway and off-street parking for two vehicles, it delivers the privacy and everyday independence of a standalone home, complemented by low-maintenance surroundings and the convenience of a well-connected central location.

Natural light fills the open plan living and dining spaces before extending to the covered front patio, where an insulated roof creates an inviting all-weather alfresco overlooking the established gardens. The modern kitchen balances clean contemporary finishes with everyday practicality through stone benchtops, breakfast bar seating, stainless steel appliances and a gas cooktop.

Three generous bedrooms, two of which include built-in robes, while the thoughtfully renovated bathroom introduces contemporary fittings, a frameless shower and separate WC. Split system air conditioning to the living area and main bedroom, a gas bayonet for winter comfort and a separate storage room complete a home where every update has been carefully considered.

Beyond the privacy of the front garden, this prime location continues to reward with the lifestyle that has made Maylands one of Perth's most sought-after inner-city suburbs. Walk to the cafés, restaurants and local favourites of Eighth Avenue and Whatley Crescent, catch the train into the CBD, explore riverside walking trails or spend weekends at Maylands Peninsula Golf Course, all from an address that keeps daily life refreshingly connected.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
