Over 55? Here's Your Fresh Start

Are you ready for a fresh start? So is this tidy unit, set in a peaceful and pretty over 55s complex. A 2x1 with plentiful living space, it will suit a single or couple seeking an independent lifestyle and the opportunity to enjoy being active and social in beautiful, community-minded Mundaring. Practical inclusions are already thought of here; year-round comfort is made easy with split system aircons and a gas bayonet, the walk-in shower with safety rail adds peace of mind, there's a rainwater tank in the courtyard to help mitigate utility bills, and the built-in wardrobes are brilliant for storage. With everything already done, all you need to do is move in and start living!

But it's not just the details that will win you over. The living areas of this home are generous without being sprawling, so you can have loved ones come to visit for meals or casual catch ups without struggling to find somewhere to sit. Good news - you're no longer spending your weekends endlessly cleaning rooms you no longer have use for. But, there's still space for a decent sized dining table, and the lounge room is big enough to get comfy in. You won't need to ditch the couch or compromise on where to put your favourite armchair, because they'll fit easily. And the icing on the cake is the presentation of this property. Neat as a pin and well cared for, you won't even need to paint walls or hang new curtains- unless you want to, of course! Lovely, versatile, and spacious. This unit ticks all the boxes.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
