What we love:
Professionals, singles, students, families, retirees – everyone loves Joondanna and there are a lot of reasons why; it’s an easy commute to the city, convenient to Mt Hawthorn’s funky café strip and Osborne Park business precinct, and this is your big chance to move right in on this fantastic lifestyle with a smart three bedroom townhouse nestled at the rear of just three homes on McDonald Street.
In this floorplan, living spaces are downstairs and sleeping upstairs with three good sized bedrooms including the master suite, all with big windows letting in loads of natural light and views across the treetops. All bedrooms are carpeted in modern, neutral tones and share a central bathroom.
Downstairs, beautiful polished hardwood floors run throughout the open-plan living areas giving it a cool, comfortable feel including through the recently renovated kitchen which is packed with loads of storage space and a window view to the garden so you can watch the children playing in the backyard. There’s a big laundry adjacent with more than ample storage with cupboards overhead and waist height and with direct access to the rear yard.
The lounge features super modern downlights, big windows, those stunning timber floors and you’ll love the enormous amount of under stair storage where there’s room to create a study nook too.
You’ll enjoy having friends over for a barbecue and using the huge undercover, paved alfresco area that runs the width of the home and is fringed by grassy yard, screened beautifully by mature shrubs along the fence line.
There’s a separate storage shed too for garden gear and bikes, and you’ll appreciate having side access through a gate to the rear yard.

The first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
Joondanna contains a number of small shops to cater for daily grocery needs. The largest park within the region surrounds the water tower on Roberts Street and Albert James Park also provides for passive recreation. Joondanna also contains a primary school and a home for seniors.
