Huge quarter acre blocks with 4-bedroom family homes are currently super popular, especially as block sizes seem to be shrinking. Add to that the ability to be able to develop the land with the R20/40 zoning, there are heaps of options available.
There's space inside for family and friends with a large front lounge room and formal dining area, plus a dining room attached to the kitchen. Flowing on from there is another living area that steps out to the undercover patio, and a huge separate room that's currently used as a craft room but could be a 5th bedroom.
The block is something else, with beautiful bore-fed lawns and gardens, and a large, powered workshop that you can drive through to. The kids are going to have a ball playing in their new yard and with the huge amount of grass, there's the option to drop in a pool if you are keen.
The lucky new owner can enjoy:
• Large front lounge room, hybrid flooring and gas log fire
• Queen sized master bedroom with his/hers double BIR, fan, blinds and ensuite
• Bedrooms 2,3 and 4 all have BIR, carpet and blinds or curtains
• Kitchen comprises of double fridge recess, 4 burner gas cook top, rangehood, below and overhead cupboards, gas oven, dishwasher and skylight
• Meals area coming off the kitchen and leading onto the 2nd living area

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
