Retirement Lifestyle Shaped by Calm and Connection

There's a point, as you follow the winding, tree lined paths of Yallambee Village, when the pace of life seems to gently fall away. Sunlight drifts through the native canopy, the bushland breathes around you, and Mundaring's rolling hills frame a tranquillity that feels beautifully timeless. It's a setting that invites you to slow down, exhale, and simply enjoy the moment.

At the centre of this serene landscape sits a newly refurbished two bedroom villa - fresh, sophisticated and thoughtfully renewed. Every space feels warm and inviting, from the morning light that spills across the front veranda to the soft evening glow of the gardens beyond. The main bedroom, complete with a built in robe, offers a calming retreat, while reverse cycle air conditioning ensures comfort no matter the season. Practical touches, including a combined laundry and bathroom, storeroom and private carport, make daily living effortless.

Yet it's the spirit of Yallambee Village that truly elevates life here. There's a genuine sense of community - neighbours who greet you by name, shared laughter in the large function room, and quiet moments of connection along the leafy walkways. It's a place where friendships form naturally and where every day feels enriched by the people around you.

Beyond the village, convenience blends seamlessly with lifestyle. A short stroll brings you to Mundaring's cafés, shops, medical services, chemists, library and the vibrant Mundaring Hub. Everything you need is close at hand, yet the tranquillity of the village remains ever-present.

This villa is offered under a Lease for Life Contract, providing long term security in a setting that feels instantly like home.

A refined lifestyle. A connected community. A home that feels truly right. Welcome to Yallambee Village.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
