"Simply Beautiful"

Located directly across from the beautiful Strettle Road Reserve and only 5 minutes from the Mundaring town centre, this exquisitely renovated home is something special. Architectural flair and quality craftsmanship have fully transformed the original 60's-built home into a residence of modern comfort and style with a delightful hint of retro thrown in! The home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with the option of converting one of the multiple living spaces into a fourth bedroom if desired. It resides on a beautifully landscaped 2032sqm block which has been cleverly designed to create discrete areas with their own functionality. Whether you are looking for the perfect lifestyle home (complete with a stunning pool!) or wanting the practicality of a fabulous studio or workshop with vehicular access via a side driveway, this property has it all!

3 bedroom and 2 bathroom residence
Spacious lounge and dining or 4th bed
Sun room and cosy snug or sitting room
Stunning kitchen with adjoining scullery
Luxurious master with gorgeous ensuite
High ceilings/timber windows and doors
Sparkling f/g saltwater pool with spa jets
Superb shed/studio with annexe parking
Exquisite reticulated landscaped gardens
2032sqm block only 5 mins to Mundaring

Set behind a rammed earth wall to ensure perfect privacy, the property has a wide frontage with gated driveway access to the shed/studio at the rear of the block. It overlooks pretty Reserve bushland and there is the convenience of a bus stop next to the property for transport to schools or Midland train station.

Step inside and prepare to be impressed! Renovated and extended by the current builder-owners, it is immediately evident that no expense has been spared in creating a home of supreme comfort and liveability. The entrance opens to a large formal lounge on the right, which flows through to a huge dining room (which could also serve as a bedroom if desired). A slow combustion wood fire in the dining room keeps the entire house cosy in the cooler months and the massive timber windows which feature throughout the home, flood the space with light and afford pretty outlooks to the gardens. To the left of the entrance are the minor bedrooms which are well separated from the master bedroom to ensure parents privacy. One of these is king-sized and has a ceiling fan, built in desk and mirrored robes. The other has a ceiling fan and lovely recessed ceilings. They share the use of a family bathroom with stone bench tops, a huge bathtub and separate toilet.

Make your way through to the kitchen which forms the hub of the home. A cosy snug next to the kitchen has matching fitted cabinetry and would be the perfect spot for a morning coffee! The kitchen has been recently renovated and features stylish grey cabinetry with timber bench tops and is complete with dishwasher and a free-standing 900mm range cooker. A butlers pantry with pantry and plenty of storage has direct access out to the al fresco for easy entertaining.

The home flows through to a small hallway with a large laundry and a lovely sun room with high raked ceilings which has sliding doors out to the garden. This room would also make an ideal fourth bedroom if desired. The master suite is located at the rear of the home and is simply beautiful. Once again, soaring raked ceilings feature here and stunning feature windows have been used to great effect to capture snap shots of the beautiful rear gardens. Solid Tasmanian Oak flooring features in the master suite, and it is complete with banks of built in robes and a an ensuite bathroom with separate toilet.

Make your way outside to enjoy the lifestyle on offer. Whilst the majority of the block has been fully landscaped, a portion at the rear retains established native trees and natural bush. The shed or studio sits adjacent to this area and would make an ideal workshop, artists retreat or teenager retreat. The studio has high ceilings, is fully insulated and has concrete floors. Like the main residence, it has 3 phase power and also has a separate electrical sub-meter. An over-height annexe adjoins the studio and would be ideal for boat or caravan parking.

The rear garden is fully fenced and has been designed for summer entertaining. A sparkling salt water pool with bench seat and spa jet beckons in the hot summer weather and a spacious covered al fresco entertaining area will happily accommodate family and friends with ease. The fully reticulated gardens are a riot of colour and boast a lush section of lawn for the kids and fur babies and several decked platforms for viewing.

Searching for a forever home where everything has been done and you can just move in and enjoy the lifestyle on offer? Then look no further as this beauty has it all!

Mahogany Creek overview

This suburb takes its name from Mahogany Creek, a picturesque tributary of Jane Brook which flows through the area. The creek was known by this name as early as 1830, and takes its name from the towering forest through which it flowed (mahogany was the early colonial name for Jarrah). This place is well known from "The Old Mahogany Inn" located here, an early colonial wayside inn, formerly known as the "Prince of Wales" Inn. The area was developed as orchard land in the 1890's, and a railway stopping place was established here in 1891.
