RELAXED, REFINED AND READY TO LOVE

Reasons To Call This Home
Just footsteps from the sand and surf at iconic Mettams Pool, this stylishly-renovated 4 bedroom 1 bathroom coastal gem delivers the ultimate blend of fresh seaside living and effortless modern comfort. Light, bright and beautifully reimagined throughout, this delightful duplex half captures that breezy beachside energy from the moment you step inside. Crisp interiors, quality finishes and a relaxed open flow make every day feel like a holiday, while the ocean’s call is quite literally at your doorstep.

High angled ceilings and split-system air-conditioning grace a spacious living room that sits separately from the open-plan dining and kitchen area where a feature skylight, sparkling stone bench tops, a breakfast bar, a double-door storage pantry and double sinks meet a dishwasher and classy electric range-hood, hotplate and under-bench-oven appliances. There is external access from the kitchen, as well.

Headlining the sleeping quarters is a stunningly-updated bathroom with a walk-in rain shower and floating stone-vanity basin. The bedrooms are all carpeted, inclusive of a huge second bedroom with built-in wardrobes and an over-size master – complete with its own walk-in robe, for good measure.

Outdoor entertaining is catered for by a tranquil rear pergola courtyard off the living zone – complete with custom seating, a built-in bar bench and fabulous servery window, revealing the kitchen. The low-maintenance backyard setting is surprisingly spacious and features stress-free lawns and gardens, for good measure. This one is the perfect balance of lifestyle and location — where salty air meets a sense of sophistication.

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
