Set behind private gardens and hedges, the wide shady verandas that surround this elegant four bedroom two bathroom "HOMESTEAD" home, has a floored entry hall with a formal lounge with high ceilings, cosy slow combustion fire and a dining room enough for a large table.
From the central part of the home, there are bi folding doors that have a stunning outlook to an outdoor entertaining area and a sparkling pool.
Overlooking a private garden there is honey coloured bamboo flooring throughout a modern kitchen area with extensive cupboards and soft closing drawers, gas cooktop and stainless-steel oven.
The four bedrooms are fully carpeted, also comprise either built in or walk in robes and ceiling fans. There is also a study that has a built-in desk and cupboard feature.
The swimming pool is set in the middle of a beautiful rear garden area; lawns watered off the mains, fragrant roses, tall shady trees and meandering pathways, and is completely surrounded by safety and clear glass safety fencing. To the western side is also a private and secure entertainment cabana - perfect for those quiet intimate get-togethers!
The wide paved driveway gives access to 3 lock up garages (double and a single) and another side driveway gives some access to the rear of the property - vegetable garden and shed - perfect hardstand storage room for a small boat or trailer.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
