Convenient Investment

This in town property offers not only a very comfortable home, but it also resides on a generous 1765sqm triple lot sized block within walking distance to everything and could just be that investment you're looking for.
The cottage sized home has been through what can only be described as an amazing renovation transformation from the stumps up to roof incorporating the character and jarrah flooring from its original self. Double glazing throughout achieving a 7.5 star rating makes for a very comfortable home. Double sliding doors open out a semi sunken pergola alfresco area offering all weather entertaining. Add to this a roomy shed complete with plumbing just simply lends itself to so many options. A solar array contributes to your power bills, rainwater tank, sealed driveway, fencing and landscaping just adds to all the appeal.
And all this is contained on one of the lots if you decided to revive an old, approved subdivision giving you an opportunity to realise an additional two blocks to sell or develop. Of course this would be subject to current shire approvals.

Denmark overview

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.

Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
