If you've ever dreamed of swapping the suburbs for a bit of open space — somewhere you can have a few animals, grow your own fruit, and still make it back to civilisation before the ice cream melts — this one might just hit the spot. Sitting on a manageable 1.63 hectares (that's 4 acres in old money) it's one of the bigger blocks in the Dandalup Springs Estate! This modern 5-bedroom home in North Dandalup gives you the best of both worlds: comfort and country freedom, without needing a tractor licence to get around the yard.
Inside, the layout's built for easy living. A massive open-plan space brings the lounge, dining, and kitchen together — perfect for family catch-ups or a quiet night by the wood fire. Big windows flood the area with natural light and take in the views of your own slice of land. The kitchen's a proper chef's setup with plenty of storage, a big island bench with a breakfast bar, dishwasher, and stainless-steel cooking appliances. You've even got 3-phase power running to the stove — so no excuses for burning the roast.
The master suite's set at the front of the home, taking in views across the timber-decked verandah. There's split-system air con, a walk-through robe, and an ensuite that's ideally laid out with a floating vanity, twin basins, enclosed shower, and a toilet. Four queen-sized bedrooms handle the rest of the crew, all with robes (and one with its own air con). There's also a dedicated study or home office with views of the goat palace — because who doesn't need a little inspiration from the livestock?

Outside, it's every bit the country dream. Wide timber-decked verandahs wrap around the home, perfect for kicking back at the end of the day with a "cold one". The 9m x 12m workshop is an absolute ripper — powered and lit, with 3-phase connection lines already in place if you want to add a heavy-duty setup later. There's more than enough room for the big projects, the boat, or the weekend tinker sessions. Add a large four-car carport, an established bore, and a thriving home orchard bursting with lemons, mandarins, apples, and more — and you're well on your way to a self-sufficient lifestyle. Retic's ready to go, and the solar system keeps the bills down while the goats and chooks handle the entertainment in their dedicated hen house and goat palace.
North Dandalup has that true small-town charm — the local primary school's just up the road, the Stud Country Tavern's close for a pub meal, and the roadhouse sorts you out for milk and fuel. When you need a bit more, Byford and Pinjarra are an easy drive away.
If you've been thinking about spreading out a little — maybe a few chooks, a goat or two, and some homegrown produce — this could be your spot. Give us a call and come take a look; it's country living made easy.

The townsite of North Dandalup is located in the south west, 71 km south of Perth and 16 km north east of Pinjarra. It is located adjacent to the North Dandalup River, from which it derives its name. Dandalup is an Aboriginal name, having been shown on maps of the area since 1835. The meaning of the name is not known.
The townsite is situated on the South Western Railway, and North Dandalup was included as a stopping place in timetables of 1894. Land around the siding was privately owned and subdivided, but a schoolsite was set aside in 1899, and a hall and recreation ground in 1915. In 1932 the North Dandalup Prescribed Area was declared, and then in 1972 the area was gazetted a townsite.
