Enjoying a private elevated position, this lovely rammed earth & weatherboard cottage secures a glimpse of the ocean and provides the perfect escape from the hectic pace of city life.
The double carport is located at the front of the property, where a concrete path leads you up to the house.
Built in 1998, the house has been freshly painted inside and out, and the rear deck has been recently extended.
Inside you will find a large open planned living area. The tiled floors provide a cool respite on those warm summer days and the exposed timber beams add to the coastal feel of the home. There is plenty of space for a dining table and lounge area.
A large galley style kitchen has a breakfast bar for casual dining, plenty of cupboard space, electric oven and stove top, pantry, fridge recess & broom cupboard. A RC air con is perfect for cooling/heating the living area.
The downstairs bedroom is massive and could be ultimately split into two bedrooms to make this a 3 bedroom house. It currently has four single beds with room for occasional furniture and four built in cupboards.
The pale grey tones are carried through to the downstairs bathroom which has a shower, toilet and vanity. The laundry has a built-in linen cupboard, room for the washing machine and the screen door allows the cool sea breezes to flow through the home.
The timber staircase leads to the second storey where there is an A-framed living area with timber-look floors. A large sliding door floods the area with natural light and leads to the upstairs deck where you might like to enjoy an evening drink as the sun sinks below the horizon over the water. An exterior blind can be lowered to reduce the afternoon sunshine or the ocean breeze. This area provides a perfect second living area or additional room for beds.
The master suite has raked ceilings with exposed timber beams and timber-look floors. A bright, airy room, you will love retreating here for nap in the afternoons. The master has a generous walk-in robe and an ensuite with shower, vanity & toilet.
The lawns and gardens are reticulated and there is so much space around the home. You will find a variety of fruit trees including figs, quince, mulberry, lemon, orange and a grape vine.
There is a 4mx7m lockup powered shed with both a roller door & personnel door, great for extra storage for all things needed for your outdoor pursuits.

Binningup is a south western coastal townsite located 127 kilometres south of Perth and 30 kilometres north of Bunbury. Binningup takes its name from "Binningup Beach Estate", a name used by a syndicate of Harvey people who subdivided the area in 1953. By 1962 there was only one resident in the area, but many homes were built in the following few years. At the request of the Shire of Harvey, Binningup was gazetted a townsite in 1963.
Despite being a popular tourist and stopover point in the summer months, Binningup is a beautiful coastal village which boasts many attractions for local residents including a scenic golf course, pristine beach is protected by a reef running parallel to it, general store, caravan park, skateboard park, recreation centre, youth camp, public library and public oval.
