Never Been Sold!
This home was built in 1977 and has belonged to the same family ever since.
Originally a 3x1, over the years it has been extended, upgraded and enhanced to become the stunning 2 storey masterpiece it is today.
Featuring some gorgeous architecture and spacious living zones which are as stylish as they are practical. And because of the fact that the second storey was built much later, the home now has TWO master bedrooms, one upstairs with an ensuite and one downstairs with a private "secret" courtyard.
My favourite room is the sunken lounge at the back, which is a huge open plan entertaining space with a wall of windows, looking out to the botanical gardens outside. but there is also a lot that can be said for very classy front lounge too with its cathedral ceilings and ornate fireplace.
Speaking of the outside - there is a lot of it!
The block is approximately half an acre (2004sqm to be precise) and includes multiple sheds, one of which is a true and proper garage workshop, suitable for multiple vehicles and hobbies, and with through access to an additional garage at the rear. There is a below ground pool, and some absolutely beautiful trees. If you love birds, an if you love tranquillity, you'll ADORE this home!

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.
Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
