Presence, polish & a scene stealing balcony.
Well now, aren’t things heating up? Not the weather, obviously, but certainly the opportunity here. This apartment is already thinking about your future Summers, which see you hosting long, lazy catch-ups on that oversized balcony overlooking Eighth Avenue with sangrias, golden light, and your favourite people. That balcony is a whole moment - big, bold, beautifully private where it counts, but open enough to make the most of the breeze and sunshine and a little bit of The Avenues energy. Slide back inside through the corner doors (yes, both sides open up) and the mood shifts without missing a beat. The living space is quietly striking with its curved wall, architectural kitchen bulkhead, and timber-look floors, grounding it all in that easy, lived-in-but-luxe-cool way. The contemporary kitchen gets the job done with stainless steel appliances, double sink, and overhead storage, meaning room for everything you actually use. The bedroom keeps things snazzy with mirrored built-in robes and direct access to the balcony, while the bathroom brings together a shower, vanity storage, WC, and a cleverly tucked-away European laundry so nothing interrupts the flow. You’ll also love the secure undercover parking, the private lock-up storeroom, and a first-floor position that puts you right in the action without sacrificing privacy. Cosy when you need it, open when you want it, and always just the right amount of polished. Whatever the season, whatever the mood, this is your place to reset, entertain, and escape.
Location-wise, this is convenience with a side serve of personality. You’ve got Mrs. S and Leo’s Pizza practically at your doorstep (50m), Smoults Larder (75m) and Chapels on Whatley (100m) for quick bites, Steam Haus (130m) and Sherbet Cafe and Bake Shop (150m) for your caffeine rituals, and Lyrics Bar (190m), Rossonero Pizzeria (190m), and Seasonal Brewing Co (280m) ready to take things up a notch when the day rolls into night. The Maylands Train Station (200m) makes commuting or heading into the city too easy, while IGA (125m) and Coles Maylands (600m) keep your daily essentials sorted. When you need space to stretch out, Shearn Park (650m), Bardon Park (1.1km), and Maylands Peninsula Golf Course (2km) deliver, with relaxed weekends calling for Peninsula Farm Cafe (2.6km) or a wander along the Maylands Foreshore (3.2km). Throw in favourites like Pizzeria Amore Mio (850m), Garden Cafe on Guildford (1.2km), and Kinky Lizard Maylands (1km), and you’ve got a neighbourhood that genuinely keeps up with you from morning coffee to afternoon errands and onto the best of evening plans. We won’t blame you for falling head over heels.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
