What we love
Nestled behind a chic yet unassuming fence this captivating mid-century modern home awaits. The front yard is embellished with well-manicured lawn and a leafy banana palm shielding the deck; the perfect position to make memories and watch the kids grow up. Boasting three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dedicated children’s play nook, expansive kitchen, and 2 outdoor entertaining areas – this residence seamlessly combines classic style with modern luxury.

Step into the living space, a perfect welcome adorned with jarrah floorboards and classic fireplace.
The raked ceiling continues throughout the kitchen/dining/living area and out to the undercover alfresco area creating a stylish ambience. The kitchen truly is the heart of this home; positioned centrally, it features Dekton benchtops (if you don’t know, find out!); Belling oven and gas cooktop; Bosch dishwasher; commercial grade pull-out sink mixer and almost too much cupboard space. The stacker sliding doors create the ideal indoor/outdoor flow with the alfresco. The entertaining area features composite decking, patio blinds and LED spotlights and has perfect eyeline to the children’s sand pit; both young and old are going to be entertained in this inviting backyard.

Through the children’s play nook, we are led down the hall passed the secondary bedrooms, bathroom and laundry to the master suite, a parent’s sanctuary; with large walk in wardrobe, large ensuite with his and hers basins and large north facing windows to capture all the natural light.

All bedrooms are serviced by ceiling fans and the home is topped off with solar panels, everything your growing family could ask for.

Joondanna overview

The first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
