Established gardens, visiting birds and an outlook towards neighbouring farmland give 23 Hirono Loop a connection to nature within Dunsborough Lakes. Dunsborough town centre is approximately six minutes’ drive away, with Quindalup Beach approximately 2 km from home.
Built by Summit Homes and completed in 2020, the property makes thoughtful use of its 525 m² block. A three-bedroom main residence and self-contained one-bedroom studio sit beneath the same roof, providing four bedrooms and three bathrooms in total, with space for family and guests to enjoy some independence.
Expansive windows bring light into the main living area, where a Nectre wood heater adds warmth. Stacking doors open to the front garden and create a column-free connection to the central courtyard. Beneath its gabled roof, electric blinds and an infrared heater make the courtyard an inviting extension of the home.
The kitchen connects with dining and the courtyard, with stone benchtops, a powered island seating four to six, Westinghouse cooking appliances and a Bosch dishwasher. A timber study nook sits alongside. French doors open from the main suite to the courtyard, while wool carpet, a dressing station and a screened freestanding bath add comfort and privacy. Two further king-sized bedrooms offer generous robe storage.
The studio has its own lounge, full kitchen and separate king-sized bedroom with a walk-in robe and ensuite. Its side entrance, fenced patio and garden, clothesline and tandem driveway support longer visits. Hosted short-stay approval is in place until December 2027, subject to conditions.
Outside, native plants, grass trees and a gum tree attract birdlife, while lemon, passionfruit, olive, fig and pomegranate bring variety to the established garden. Reticulated lawn, vegetable beds and two planter boxes provide space to grow, relax and play.

The townsite of Dunsborough is located on the coast, 12 kilometres southeast of Cape Naturaliste and approximately 19 kilometres of Busselton. It was gazetted as a Townsite in 1879, but land for a townsite was set aside here in the late 1830's, and there is a recorded whale fishery at "Dunsbro" in 1850.
Dunsborough is located adjacent to Dunn Bay from which it derives its name. The bay is believed to have been named by Governor James Stirling , March 1830, whilst on the "Eagle" carrying out a survey of Geographe Bay. It is named after Captain Richard Dalling Dunn, under whom Stirling served on the "Hibernia"120 and the "Armide"38 in 1810-1811 (Stirling named a number of features in Western Australia after naval officers under whom he served or was associated with) When Dunsborough first appeared on a map in 1839 it was spelt "Dunnsbro" but the extra n appears to have disappeared by 1850, and the spelling of "bro" was amended to "borough"when the name was gazetted in 1879.
