Dream Starter or Deluxe Downsizer

Whether you are starting a new beginning in the hills or looking to downsize from the big family home but still want all the pampering luxuries of a new home then look no further. 22 Glyde Road offers a fantastic price point for those yearning the sprawling space of a traditional quarter acre block and are over renovating!

A recent makeover of this 1970's three bedroom 1 bathroom classic has brought it back to the cool crisp contemporary lines of today including a new galley kitchen, refreshed bathroom, led downlights, window treatments and painting throughout. For a three bedroom home it's surprisingly spacious with the traditional L shaped lounge and dining with a gorgeous bay window and adjacent to the kitchen / breakfast bar is an additional compact living zone ideal as a small family area or a place for your guests to chill and talk whilst you're cooking and entertaining.

Both living zones interconnect with the outdoor area which has had a recent installation of a vergola patio the perfect place to enjoy these Autumn nights with a wine in hand. The remainder of the backyard is really a blank canvas for you to add to the existing gardens, erect a potential workshop or possible even a granny flat (subject to relevant authority approval).

Please contact Ben Ciocca and David Farrant to organise your inspection.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
