Delightful on Dodd

There is so much to love about this delightful beauty on Dodd Street. If you love the outdoors you will love this one for sure.
Upon arrival at 21 Dodd Street you have a huge carport for parking and there is a roller door to take you straight down to the back yard via the driveway into a double car shed space making this perfect for parking vehicles in the rear or trailer loads of garden supplies.

Back to the front again and the home is very appealing with the enclosed front yard of lawn and rose garden framing the entrance to the home. Entry is either by the front door or down a dainty little paved courtyard taking you through a sliding door into the dining area.
The white kitchen is fresh and wholesome with a good amount of bench space and overlooks the open area that is big enough for a grand dining table or as currently used with a small meals table and open space for other choices. At the front is a good size air conditioned separate lounge room that overlooks the front garden.

The main bedroom looks out to the front courtyard and has a built in robe. Down the passage way there is a toilet at the end and a huge main bathroom which has a vanity and a grand walk in shower and plenty of room for drying off. Just off the adjacent laundry is another vanity and another shower. A room ( previously was a bedroom ) has been opened up to become a walk through room which is used as a home office and leads to the remaining 3 bedrooms at the rear of the home. 2 of these rooms have built in robes and one of them has a sliding door access to the side of the yard. A split system air conditioner helps to climate control this wing of the home.

Stepping out from the laundry there is a full length patio that is semi enclosed and such an inviting place for outdoor living and entertaining and as you can see the plant life just love it there. A gate from the front lawned area provides access to this space which is great for the mates gate access if outside and you are expecting guests to arrive. There is another little outdoor room at the end of this patio which is currently used as the dining area but could also be a great alfresco kitchen area. From here the lush back lawn awaits you and is perfect for the little ones to run and play whether that be kids and or pets. There is a fish cleaning station just near the shed and a enclosure behind the shed which is perfect for a dog run, cat enclosure or chook yard. The shed has a room on the far right hand side which could easily be jazzed up to be a great teenagers retreat or pool room, games room or man cave. The shed side can park any other vehicles that you may need to park or use this as workshop space if more so desired. Completing the yard down the end near the roller door is an enclosure perfect for the birds or make it an ideal shade house for veggies or this would be a great cat enclosure as well, the choice is up to you

Dongara overview

Dongara is a townsite near the mouth of the Irwin River, 351 kilometres north north-west of Perth. The area was first settled in the early 1850s, and government buildings were erected in the townsite area in the late 1860s and early 1870s. There is no actual gazettal date for the townsite, but townsite lots were surveyed in 1873, and government land sales were held here in 1877 and in the 1880s. For some time an alternative spelling of "Dongarra" was used, but Dongara was adopted as the official spelling in 1944. The name is the anglicised version of "Thungarra", an Aboriginal name referring to the mouth of the Irwin River. It is said to mean "place of the fur seal".
