This spacious north facing ground floor 3 room home is an absolute must see! and the family lets us know what life was like in this beautiful home
'Great winter sun when it's lower in the sky and a much cooler in summer being ground floor when the sun is higher in summer. Dad in particular would spend a lot of time sitting on the patio. Some more extras that we loved were:
*The external access, so much easier for visitors (family, friends and support people) to come and go, with parking right at the gate or across the road. As family, it made it so much easier for us to drop-in' at any time.
*much shorter distance to carry shopping etc when they'd stop outside the unit before parking the car in the garage.
*easy access to the park with their dog.
*being able to talk to people as they walked past, including so many from 'the village'.
*Security was never an issue being such a safe neighbourhood and also keeping the external gate locked and the door to the unit locked as well if they weren't on the patio.
*the small garden, particularly the roses.
*The social aspect of 'the village' and Heytesbury seemed to have many wonderful events that they organised independently. Christmas, Melbourne Cup, birthday celebrations are just a few that come to mind at the moment.
*Mum enjoyed going to play cribbage with others from the village and there were many other activities that were available too.
*The connection with so many people in the village, from different walks of life, but it was amazing how many people they already knew or had heard of from various contacts.
*knowing they were able to get assistance from the on-site duty manager.
