Timeless Style, Fresh Feel

From the moment you pull up out the front of 2 Ogden Street, the charm hits you straight away. A classic Collie character home, beautifully updated from top to bottom, standing proudly behind its white brick fence and lush green hedging. This is one of those homes that instantly feels loved and as you walk up the path, you get the sense you’re about to step into something special.

Push open the front door and you’re greeted by a grand, wide entrance hall, high ceilings overhead, fresh paint throughout, and that warm “welcome home” energy that good character homes do so well. Light filters in softly, bouncing off the polished timber floors and drawing you deeper inside.

On your left and right, the first two bedrooms steal the show immediately. Both are massive. Both feel open, airy, and genuinely grand. Whether it’s a king suite, a nursery, a work from home setup or, all of the above, these rooms give you the freedom to live large. Fresh curtains, crisp finishes, and those gorgeous high ceilings make these spaces feel like something from a bygone era only refreshed, modern, and ready for the years ahead.

Continue down the hall and the home opens into a beautifully updated living space, complete with a cosy fireplace, feature lighting, and a soft, neutral palette that makes styling effortless. Just off this room sits one of the most underrated features: the front sunroom. Bathed in natural light, this is the perfect spot for an afternoon cuppa, a quiet book, or simply watching the day roll by. It’s peaceful, private, and has that calming “I could sit here for hours” feeling.

The kitchen has been fully renovated with clean, modern cabinetry, timber look benchtops, new appliances, and a layout that just makes sense. It’s bright, fresh, and looks out toward the backyard so you can stay connected while cooking up a storm. The bathroom and laundry have also been updated with new fixtures, modern tiling, sleek black tapware and a minimalist aesthetic that feels high end without being over the top.

Step outside and the home takes things up another level. A massive alfresco area stretches across the back perfect for hosting, celebrating, or just enjoying long afternoons outside. With brick paving, a wood heater, sitting and dining zones, and lush gardens around you, it’s a stunning extension of the home.

Side access leads straight down to the large workshop complete with a concrete floor and more than enough space for projects, tools, toys or weekend hobbies. Whether you’re a tradie, tinkerer or storage seeker, this shed ticks the box.

The yard itself has been thoughtfully landscaped, offering established fruit trees, greenery, defined garden beds and plenty of open space. The block is over 1000sqm, fully fenced, private, and very family friendly. There’s room for pets, gardens, a firepit, extra parking, the lot.

And just to sweeten it all the location. You’re walking distance to Collie’s main amenities including shops, cafés, schools, sports grounds, playgrounds, medical services and more. It’s convenience without the noise, charm without compromise.

2 Ogden Street is the perfect blend of old world character and fresh, modern living. Renovated, spacious, beautifully presented and move in ready, the kind of home that makes you feel excited from the moment you step inside.

If you’ve been waiting for something special… this is the one.

The townsite of Collie is located 202 kilometres south southeast of Perth and about 50 kilometres east of Bunbury. It is situated on the Collie River after which it is named.
