A Secret Worth Sharing!

Tucked quietly away from the street and hidden within the heart of an established and gated complex of just five residences, this charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom three-level townhouse is the kind of surprise you won't see coming.

What appears discreet from the outside opens to reveal a world of space, style and clever design - a home that unfolds beautifully as you move through it, offering far more than first meets the eye.

Keyless pin-code entry adds an extra layer of security - and overall peace of mind - to the property's "middle" entry level. There, a study area - with a gas bayonet for heating - is separated from a versatile sitting room by double sliding doors. It also, via double doors, seamlessly flows out to a terrific patio-entertaining area at the rear, framed by the most low-maintenance of courtyard settings - with easy care artificial turf.

Back inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is kept comfortable all year round by a split-system air-conditioning unit and a gas bayonet for heating, with double sinks, sleek white cabinetry, a microwave nook, ample power points, subway-tile splashbacks, a corner walk-in pantry, a stainless-steel range hood, a stainless-steel five-burner Euromaid gas-cooktop/oven combination and a modern white Miele dishwasher completing the kitchen features. Also on this floor is a practical laundry with a separate toilet, a double linen press and direct access out to the alfresco.

Upstairs, a huge master suite is the pick of the bedrooms, due to its epic proportions, splendid northwest-facing sunset aspect, large walk-in wardrobe and intimate ensuite bathroom - shower, toilet, vanity, under-bench storage and all. The second bedroom has built-in double robes and its own lovely leafy outlook to savour, with the third bedroom benefitting from a similar vista - as well as four doors of full-height fitted built-in robes.

The main bathroom is nice and functional, comprising of a bathtub with rain and hose showerheads, a third toilet and a powder vanity - with under-bench storage cupboards. Down the stairs, a remote-controlled double lock-up under-croft garage at ground level enjoys internal shopper's entry, a recessed side storage area and a separate lock-up storeroom with a light.

Stroll to the bottom of the street to discover the lush green Berringa Park and the amazing Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course alongside our picturesque Swan River, along which is a direct Perth City access bike path, with the Maylands Jetty and the Maylands Tennis and Yacht Clubs also nearby and very much within arm's reach, for living convenience.

Furthermore, the likes of The RISE recreation centre, shopping and medical facilities, trendy cafes and restaurants, bus stops, Maylands Train Station, excellent schools (including Maylands Peninsula Primary School), the city, Ascot Racecourse, Perth Airport, our world-class Optus Stadium at Burswood and the famous Crown entertainment and casino complex are all just a matter of minutes away in their own right, for good measure.

This private retreat keeps on giving and is ready to impress. It truly does offer another world, beyond the front gate!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
