Indulge in a taste of the good life.

Cleverness, class, and a splash of exclusivity. This mix is divine. And you could live in it. Or invest! Or both, if you're feeling extra savvy when it comes to buying a quality home in a primo location. From the first glimpse of this delectable abode set in a boutique group of 5, you'll be drooling with anticipation. There's the pretty picket fence and federation facade which will never go out of style, and then the cute little flower garden that welcomes you in the enclosed, private courtyard. From there, it slips into sleek and modern. Enter the living space and marvel in the light, bright open plan area where the kitchen is an absolute dreamboat. Impeccably presented and finished with quality appliances you'll want to invite everyone around to sample what you're dishing up. But you’ll be just as happy solo, partaking in a nap or a good book in your spacious bedroom. The under-stair storage, built-in robes, separate storage unit, and hidden laundry are excellent, practical garnishes on top of what is already a mouth-watering plate. You'll by dying to tuck-in.

Location-wise, you're deliciously close to Inglewood and Maylands where you'll fill your social calendar every week with events such as the Monday night markets, brunches and breakfasts at your favourite cafes, and nightcaps whenever the urge arises after an evening at dinner or the Astor Theatre (3.2km). Take your pick of tried and true iconic locations such as Cecchis (950m), Coffee Corner (550m), and Finlay & Sons (1.1km), or shake things up with some of the newer venues including Testun Bar (2.4km) and Grow Cafe (850m). One of the very best things about living here, however, is the annual Halloween celebration for which Stuart Street is locally famous. So get ready because you've only got 11 months until it rolls around again. In the meantime, let's toast to your impeccable decision-making. Cheers!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
