The Dunsborough Feel

Offers Closing by 2pm Tue 21 July 2026 (unless sold prior)

This is the one you have been waiting for, a home that encapsulates the relaxed, sun drenched soul of down south living.

Tidily set back behind a canopy of iconic Peppermint trees, the front verandah catches the golden afternoon sun, offering the ultimate spot to sit back with a glass of local wine and enjoy those long, still Dunsborough evenings. Location wise, it's perfection. Under a 10mins stroll into town for your morning coffee, and a cruisy 5mins cycle before your feet are in the sand at the beach.

A Space to Breathe:
Step inside and you are immediately greeted by a sense of light and space. The striking raked ceilings draw your eyes upward, encouraging buckets of natural light to flood the open plan living area, beautifully highlighting the warm hybrid Blackbutt flooring underfoot.

At the heart of the home is a newly renovated kitchen that balances high end functionality with coastal elegance. Crafted by a local builder, it features rich timber and crisp white finishes accented by brushed gold detailing. Complete with an induction cooktop, a 900mm self-cleaning oven, and a deep double basin sink set into sleek granite style benchtops, the long breakfast bar is destined to be the central gathering spot for morning debriefs and grazing platters.

Designed for Holiday:
The floorplan offers a thoughtful separation of space. To the left, the master suite serves as a private, restful sanctuary with its own ensuite. To the right, two additional double bedrooms feature cozy wool loop carpets and built in robes, sharing a family bathroom and a separate powder room.

This is a home designed for a seamless indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The wrap-around yard is beautifully established yet completely low maintenance, giving you more time to enjoy your weekends. When the day is done and the family tumbles in from the beach, sandy feet are easily managed by a remarkably practical, spacious laundry with direct access to both the front and back of the house.

Lovingly Maintained:
There is nothing left to do here but move in and embrace the lifestyle. The entire exterior was painted just two years ago, and the internal walls were freshly repainted in 2025 alongside the gorgeous new flooring. Split system R/C A/C and ceiling fans keep the climate perfect year round, while security fly screens offer peace of mind.

What the current owner has loved most is the absolute freedom of the location. Being able to leave the car at home and walk everywhere. As well as the gentle rustle of the Peppi trees that make this property feel uniquely, beautifully Dunsborough.

With a peaceful street presence and an expansive driveway offering plenty of room for four cars, a boat, or a caravan, your coastal retreat awaits.

Property Features:
• Three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus a guest powder room.
• Locally built kitchen with premium finishes, 900mm pyrolytic oven, induction cooking, and a social breakfast bar.

Dunsborough overview

The townsite of Dunsborough is located on the coast, 12 kilometres southeast of Cape Naturaliste and approximately 19 kilometres of Busselton. It was gazetted as a Townsite in 1879, but land for a townsite was set aside here in the late 1830's, and there is a recorded whale fishery at "Dunsbro" in 1850.

Dunsborough is located adjacent to Dunn Bay from which it derives its name. The bay is believed to have been named by Governor James Stirling , March 1830, whilst on the "Eagle" carrying out a survey of Geographe Bay. It is named after Captain Richard Dalling Dunn, under whom Stirling served on the "Hibernia"120 and the "Armide"38 in 1810-1811 (Stirling named a number of features in Western Australia after naval officers under whom he served or was associated with) When Dunsborough first appeared on a map in 1839 it was spelt "Dunnsbro" but the extra n appears to have disappeared by 1850, and the spelling of "bro" was amended to "borough"when the name was gazetted in 1879.
