Some of the Best Value in Mandurah?

Look, I may be biased, but I think 19B Forward Street might just be some of the best value property available in Mandurah at the moment.

Single level, on a corner lot and with ZERO strata fees, this little cutie is absolutely perfect for a first home buyer keen to get into the property market and be close to all the action Mandurah has to offer. It would also make a great downsizer for someone wanting something manageable while staying close to everything they need. The beautiful Mandurah Foreshore, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, shops, cafés, Aldi (who doesn't love Aldi!) and Peel Health Campus are all within easy reach.

A nice solid build, constructed in 2007, this three bedroom, two bathroom home offers everything you could need. Once you come through the gate, you're greeted by probably my favourite part of the home, the courtyard. It's a great size, private, paved and shaded by a large shade sail, but what I noticed straight away were the beautiful established trees peeking over the top. It gives the space a lovely leafy outlook and makes it feel surprisingly private.

Inside, the home is comfortable and practical, particularly for someone wanting something manageable without sacrificing the essentials. The open plan living and meals area connects with the freshly updated kitchen, where white cabinetry, timber benchtops and breakfast bar seating give the space a fresh feel. Timber-look flooring through the living area adds some warmth too.

There are three bedrooms, including a main bedroom with its own ensuite, plus a family bathroom with separate bath and shower. Split system air conditioning keeps things comfortable, while roller shutters and security screens are handy additions. The laundry has also been updated, with good bench space, storage and direct access outside.

A single garage with an adjoining storeroom takes care of the car and gives you some valuable extra storage.

Mandurah overview

A vibrant mixed-residential and commercial suburb, Mandurah is the heart of the Peel district. Once a small fishing village, Mandurah has evolved into a thriving regional city and a popular destination for tourists. Situated along Western Australia's coastline, Mandurah has firmly established itself as a first class 'sea change' destination with an array of property developments that include everything from family homes, to modern apartments in new estates and luxurious mansions with canal views.

Life in Mandurah

An alluring mix of inner-city panache and classic suburban culture define the Mandurah lifestyle. As a result of the 'sea change' phenomenon which transformed the suburb, Mandurah is now home to a major shopping centre, quality restaurants, charming retail outlets, a bustling foreshore and a pulsating boardwalk. Throughout the year, Mandurah hosts several popular annual events such as the Crab Festival in mid-March and the Mandurah Boat Show in mid-October. Other notable features include the Mandurah Train Station, which provides a fast transport option into and out of the Perth CBD, and local schools, Mandurah Primary School, Mandurah Baptist College, Mandurah Catholic College and Frederick Irwin Anglican School.
