SPACE TO BUILD LIFE YOUR WAY

Sometimes the best place to start is with a blank canvas — and this one comes with plenty of room to move. Set on a generous 812sqm block in the heart of Narrogin, this is a great opportunity to build* the home you've been picturing, without squeezing it onto a postage stamp-sized lot. There's space here to stretch out, or simply enjoy a bit more breathing room than you'd typically find in the city.

Starting fresh means designing a home that actually suits the way you live. Big open living areas, a kitchen that's made for entertaining, a couple of well-sized bedrooms, maybe a home office or guest room — it's all up to you. Whether you're a first home buyer keen to get into the market, or chasing a country change where life moves a little slower, this block gives you the chance to build something that feels truly yours from day one.

Property features include:
* 812sqm block with plenty of space to design your ideal home
* Large shed with concrete floor already in place
* Power and water available (not currently connected)
* Current power and water supplied from neighbouring 197 Narrakine Road**
* Opportunity to purchase alongside 197 Narrakine Road — a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom brick and tile home — and combine the two lots into one large property
* 1.2km to Narrogin Primary School
* 4.3km to Narrogin High School
* 7.6km to Narrogin Agricultural College
* 1.7km to Narrogin Town Centre
* 800m to Narrogin Health Service
* Close to local parks and reserves

Outside, you've already got a head start with the large shed and concrete floor — ideal for storage, projects, or keeping the tools and toys out of the weather while you plan your build. The block itself offers plenty of flexibility. Keep it simple, go big with the backyard, or explore the option of combining it with the neighbouring property to create one seriously spacious setup.

Location-wise, it's nicely placed to enjoy everything Narrogin has to offer. Schools, the town centre, local parks and the hospital are all close by, making day-to-day life easy. Narrogin is well known for its strong community feel, relaxed country pace and beautiful surrounds — exactly the kind of place people picture when they talk about a tree change.

If you've been thinking about building but struggling to find a block with a bit of breathing room, this one is well worth a look. Get in touch to find out more.

Narrogin overview

The townsite of Narrogin is located in the great southern agricultural region, 192 km south east of Perth and 32 km east north east of Williams. It is located on the Great Southern Railway, and when this line was opened in 1889, Narrogin was one of the original stopping places. The railway line was a private line, and the Company that built the line declared a private townsite here in 1891. The railway was purchased by the Government in 1896, and in 1897 Narrogin was gazetted as a government townsite.

Narrogin is an Aboriginal name, having been first recorded as "Narroging" for a pool in this area in 1869. The meaning of the name is uncertain, various sources recording it as "bat camp", "plenty of everything" or derived from "gnargagin" which means "place of water".
