Family Sized Opportunity

Welcome to this charming FIVE-bedroom cottage-style home with HIGH ceilings and timber floorboards. This unique property offers a touch of nostalgia combined with some modern touches. Situated on a fabulous 2208sqm of relatively flat land.

As you step inside you are immersed in the county kitchen and dining area that will accommodate the growing and larger family. With a quaint lounge room that has an open fireplace for the cooler days ahead, with access outside to the alfresco area. An extra living space that can be utilized as a games room or TV room. With the generous number of bedrooms, all being of good size, any of these rooms can be additional living spaces for a home office, fitness room or hobby space. The generous bedroom layout ensures that everyone has their own private sanctuary.

Although this home requires some finishing touches, it presents as an incredible opportunity for you to customise and add your personal touches. Imagine the satisfaction of completing the final details to make this truly you own.

There are two bathrooms plus 3 WC's, one being a small powder room for extra convenience. The bathroom closest to the main bedroom is BRAND NEW and the main bathroom is EXTRA-LARGE, again to accommodate the larger or growing family.

Outside is a typical Hills block, with low maintenance native plantings and plenty of scope for additional garaging. The larger block provides endless possibilities for outdoor entertaining , especially inside the 10m x 7m semi enclosed Alfresco area, perfect for Summer BBQ's and family gatherings, making this a great viewing point to watch the children (and neighbours, no doubt!), splash around in the above ground swimming pool. There is a workshop/storage area at front of property that will certainly come in handy. Plus, some smaller shedding options at rear of property.

Located in a desirable part of Lesmurdie, with easy access to Ray Owen Sports Complex, Sanderson Road Shopping Centre and Lesmurdie Primary School (newly revamped).

Don't miss the opportunity to put your own stamp on this cottage style property, perfectly located to make this a great place to raise a family and enjoy the Hills lifestyle.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.

Life in Lesmurdie
