Cyclone Seroja has actually given an astute buyer the opportunity to purchase this home that has a few new elements to it!!! with a new roof (well half a roof), solar panels, patio's, fences, ceiling in the living area and paint job, the only thing left to do is a new pool liner to this very impressive 13m long Salt water pool which is happening in the New Year. This limestone block home is definately worth a look with slate floors, open-plan living area, 3 bedrooms with BIR's and a study that could easily be used as a 4th bedroom. With a 6x8 powered shed/workshop at the rear the location is right on the Southern edge of town and offers loads of parking in a quiet location. Give me a call today to arrange inspection. Kalbarri is a coastal resort and fishing town, 589 km north north west of Perth. It is located at the mouth of the Murchison River, the area becoming popular in the late 1940s as a tourist and fishing resort. In 1948 the government decided to declare a townsite here, and following the survey of lots the townsite was gazetted in 1951.
The name of Kalbarri was chosen from a list of Aboriginal words compiled by Daisy Bates in 1913. It is a man's name from a Murchison tribe, and also the name of an edible seed. The Aboriginal name for the area of Kalbarri has been recorded as "Wurdimarlu".
