This totally groovy, charecter home packs a serious punch!
While it may only be advertised as a 2 bedroom home, it's just as big as many of the 3x1s we sell in the area too and I think with the clever addition of a wall and a door in the right spot, you could just turn this into a 3 bedder if the need arises. It's a veritable 1960s classic, which means solid timber floors and an inexplicable groovy retro feel.
Standing proudly on a great 553 square metre corner block with expansive park view frontage and only metres away from the Forrestfield Primary School, this location is truly awesome. From here you can pretty much walk to anything that's worth walking to, including the loca shops, eateries, medical centers, golf course, sporting facilities, skate park, public transport routes and more! The block was subdivided years ago so is technically on a survey strata title, but there is no common property and absolutely no strata fees. The only thing strata related you'll need to be aware of is that you'd need to get the neighbours to agree if you ever chose to take the sub-division route (which is still technically possible as an R25/40 corner block). Subject to all relevant approvals too, of course.
Inside the kitchen is a good size and has been updated since the properties construction. There is an adjoining formal dining area, second lounge or potential 3rd bedroom. Now, I don't usually say much about toilets, but there are 2 here which certainly makes the bedroom to toilet ratio more favourable than almost any other house in Forrestfield, which is definitely worth a mention!
Finally, the sellers have built a cool raised deck/dance floor in the front yard. Suitable for your morning cup of coffee with gentle birdsong in the nearby trees, or the perfect space for your ultimate housewarming gathering. Let's just make sure to invite The Mitchell Brothers.

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
