Say goodbye to skyrocketing utility bills and hello to ultimate independence. Whether you are a prepper, an eco-conscious buyer, or just someone who wants complete peace of mind, this property has the heavy lifting already done for you.

Here is why this property this property won’t last long.

Unrivaled, Near-New Power System

Massive Solar Setup: A staggering 42 solar panels (18.8kW) paired with 6 batteries (two stacks of three, totaling 22kW) and two inverters delivering 15kW straight to the house. All less than two years old!

Zero Compromises: This beast of a system easily runs the entire house, including the dishwasher, dryer, and multiple fridges and freezers.

Total Peace of Mind: Includes backup generators (also less than two years old) that have only ever been tested because the main system is just that good!

Year-Round Climate Control

Zero-Cost Cooling: The main lounge features an incredibly rare, dedicated solar air conditioning unit—powered by its own completely separate solar panel and battery!

Master Comfort: Additional air conditioning in the master bedroom for those warm summer nights.

Winter Warmth: A stunning open wood fire, recently restored by a local welder, forms the heart of the home (just add a new flue and you are ready for winter).

Water & Utility Mastery

Massive Water Storage: Currently holding approximately 70,000L across 3 active water tanks, with 2 additional tanks already on the property waiting to be connected!

Efficient Heating: Near-new (less than 3 years old) solar hot water system with an electric booster backup.

Chef's Setup: Equipped with a massive 900mm wide gas cooker and a ready-to-go connection for two gas bottles.

Your Private Homestead & Storage

Secure & Enclosed: Both the front and back yards are fully enclosed, making it perfectly safe for kids and pets.

Grow Your Own: Features an established vegetable garden and fruit trees currently in pots, just waiting for the new owner to plant them and reap the rewards.

Bonus Features: An empty bird aviary ready for your feathered friends.

Ample Storage: Includes 2 open sheds/carports, plus 2 sea containers on-site that are just begging to be developed into the ultimate workshop or secure storage sheds.

Time is Ticking! Properties with independent infrastructure do not wait around. The hard work, time, and massive expense of setting up an off-grid system of this caliber have already been taken care of. All you have to do is move in!

Ravensthorpe overview

The townsite of Ravensthorpe is located in the south coastal region, 541 kilometres east southeast of Perth and 50 kilometres north northwest of the coastal town of Hopetoun. The Ravensthorpe region was first settled by the Dunn brothers in the 1860's, and it was James Dunn who first found gold in the area in 1899. Gold mining in the area was not very productive until a new find in 1900 resulted in rapid growth.

Ravensthorpe was gazetted a townsite in January 1901, the name having been suggested by surveyor A.W. Canning after the nearby Ravensthorpe Range. The Ravensthorpe Range was named by Surveyor General J.S. Roe in 1848 in honour of Bishop Augustus Short who, prior to becoming Bishop of WA & SA in 1847, had been the Vicar of Ravensthorpe in Northamptonshire (England) from June 1835. Bishop Short is also commemorated by Mt Short, a hill in the Ravensthorpe Range.
