Coastal-Inspired Family Living with Fresh Modern Updates

Welcome to 171 Baltimore Parade, Merriwa – a beautifully refreshed family home offering space, style and effortless indoor-outdoor living in one of Merriwa’s most convenient pockets.

Built in 2006 and set on a generous 500m² block, this well-designed 159m² home combines practical family living with contemporary coastal charm. Recently renovated throughout, the interiors have been freshly painted and enhanced with new laminated floorboards to the living areas, plush new carpets in the bedrooms, and a brand-new dishwasher in the kitchen – allowing you to simply move in and enjoy.

From the moment you step inside, the home exudes tones of coastal bliss. Sandy-toned floorboards are perfectly contrasted by a soft blue-grey wall palette, all offset by crisp white skirting boards and doors, creating a light, airy ambience throughout.

At the front of the home, a welcoming lounge overlooks the garden – an ideal retreat for quiet relaxation. The king-sized master suite features a charming bay window, walk-in robe and private ensuite, offering a peaceful sanctuary away from the minor bedrooms.

Three spacious additional bedrooms all include wardrobe recesses and are serviced by a modern family bathroom styled in contemporary grey tones, complete with bath and separate shower. The well-appointed laundry includes built-in linen storage and a separate WC for added convenience.

The heart of the home is the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area – designed for both everyday living and entertaining. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with ample overhead and under-bench cabinetry, pantry, shoppers’ entry, double-door fridge recess and new dishwasher. The spacious main living zone features a wall of windows that flood the space with natural light and two sliding doors that seamlessly connect to the outdoors, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor flow.

For the discerning investor, this property represents a strong opportunity, with estimated market rent approx $700 per week.

Merriwa overview

The name originally proposed for this suburb by the Shire of Wanneroo was 'Hester' after one of the first land owners in the vicinity. This was approved in 1980, but the name was opposed by Australia Post on account of duplication. Because of this the Shire of Wanneroo proposed the name Merriwa (an Aboriginal word for 'a good place'). The name was approved in 1980.
