Exquisite Entertainer

Want a showhome standard property ragingly ready for you to simply move in? Need oodles of space, fabulous storage, separate zones for parents and children, and high-class everything? Dreaming of a Hills haven where the gardens are so picture perfect, they could feature in a home style magazine? This is the one for you.

Originally built in 1989, this 2-storey property has benefited from various upgrades over the years but has managed to retain its character and charm thanks to considerate, cultivated renovation planning and execution. Boasting a whole load of little bonuses that really go the extra mile, you'll adore the baths in both bathrooms, parents' lounge and main bedroom upstairs, the exquisite, fully modernised kitchen, and - finally - the space to welcome everyone into the heart of the home when it's time to join together: the open plan living area features high, vaulted ceilings and is fantastically spacious.

It's not only the noticeable features that will get you fired up, it's the split system air con, cosy slow combustion fire, tinted windows, and all the additional details outside like the powered workshop and lean-to to park your caravan. Speaking of the block, the current owners have spent countless hours (and investment) on extensive landscaping; think meandering pathways through the flourishing native gardens, carefully planned access through the backyard to the shed, 2 water tanks to feed the reticulation, and some peaceful rock walls to create a truly spectacular outdoor living space - all topped off with one of the most magnificent entertaining areas we've seen in a good while!

Mahogany Creek overview

This suburb takes its name from Mahogany Creek, a picturesque tributary of Jane Brook which flows through the area. The creek was known by this name as early as 1830, and takes its name from the towering forest through which it flowed (mahogany was the early colonial name for Jarrah). This place is well known from "The Old Mahogany Inn" located here, an early colonial wayside inn, formerly known as the "Prince of Wales" Inn. The area was developed as orchard land in the 1890's, and a railway stopping place was established here in 1891.
