Tucked away at the end of a quiet no-through street, this is the kind of property that makes you slow down the moment you arrive. Elevated amongst beautiful native trees, with space and privacy all around you, it feels like your own little hideaway in the bush, yet you're only minutes from the heart of Collie.
Set on an impressive 1,845m²* block, just under half an acre, there's plenty of room here to enjoy now and plenty of potential for the future. The established native trees create a beautiful natural setting, while rear laneway access and R15 zoning* open up some exciting possibilities. You could explore adding a granny flat with its own access, potentially subdivide the block into two or simply keep the space and privacy all to yourself.
The double-storey, timber-finished home fits perfectly into its surroundings, with a warm cabin-style feel that makes you feel instantly at home. Downstairs you'll find three bedrooms with built-in robes, a bathroom with separate toilet, laundry, kitchen and dining area overlooking the expansive backyard and a cosy living room with a wood fire for those cool Collie winters.
Upstairs is your own private retreat. A huge master suite is complemented by a walk-in robe, bathroom, study and second living area, while the balcony looks out amongst the treetops, giving you that peaceful treehouse feeling without ever leaving home.
Living in Collie means having some of the South West's best outdoor experiences practically on your doorstep. From Wellington Dam and Honeymoon Pool to bushwalking and mountain biking trails, it's a nature lover's playground, while still offering the amenities and convenience of a thriving country town.
Whether you see yourself enjoying nearly half an acre amongst the trees, adding a granny flat for extra space or income or exploring the subdivision potential, 17 Christie Street offers a rare combination of lifestyle, space and opportunity at a price point that makes you take notice.
Don't sleep on this one. There's a lot more here than just a home.

The townsite of Collie is located 202 kilometres south southeast of Perth and about 50 kilometres east of Bunbury. It is situated on the Collie River after which it is named. The river, which rises in the Darling Range and flows into Leschenault Estuary near Bunbury, is named after Dr Alexander Collie who was a Royal Navy surgeon that discovered the river in 1829.
Collie is a coal mining town with the coalfields developed in the late 1890s, and land set aside for a townsite. The name Collie was generally used from the beginning, and when lots were surveyed and the townsite gazetted in December 1897, it was named Collie.
