END DATE SALE: ALL OFFERS PRESENTED BY 2PM WEDNESDAY 12th FEBRUARY 2025 (the seller reserves the right to sell prior to the end date without notice)
Are you on the hunt for the perfect Hills home where your family can really put down roots and thrive? This utterly charming cedar and iron (and tin roof) home in the heart of sought-after Mundaring offers character, warmth, and that iconic Hills vibe. Set on a larger-than-average 2/3 acre block, this is the spot where kids can run wild (thanks to the secure fencing), the pups can roam free, and you can kick back and soak up the serenity of the country style living without sacrificing even a tiny bit of modern amenities and conveniences. Just sit a moment on the spacious patio watching the sunlight dance through the trees and the birds flit through the gardens. Take a moment. This is your life now.
The home itself blends classic Hills charm and contemporary style absolutely beautifully. The front lounge room beckons with a cosy wink or chat with the family in the open-plan living area. The kitchen will be the place to dole out baked goods with sprinkles of advice - get a bit of inspiration from the fantastic view out the large window. It's also super practical, with extra bench space, pantry, timber finishes, and micro-orb accents. Spend your time setting up and styling your bedrooms and living spaces because the bathrooms don't need a single thing - they've been fantastically updated with sleek grey and white tiles, modern fixtures, and even a tub in the family bathroom. The subtle touches of Jarrah retained in the windows tie it all together. Even the laundry has been given a refresh, so you can focus on settling in rather than making a list of To Dos.

This is all the perks of living surrounded by nature with not much required of you to keep it amazing! Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
Known as the heart of the Perth hills, Mundaring is located on the eastern edge of the Perth Hills. It offers stunning walking and cycling trails, spectacular state forest and national parks and home to the historic Mundaring Weir. Other facilities include two primary schools (Sacred Heart School and Mundaring Primary School) and one secondary school (Mundaring Christian College).
