Secluded Inlet Escape

Tucked away off Minsterly Road, is a real hidden gem. Occupying almost half an acre of land with inlet frontage and a simple, but comfortable two storey home plus separate studio, this property has so much potential!

The two storey studio greets you on entry to the property (via the sealed right of way) with the main home closer to the water. Easy care gardens, natural rock outcrops and a gently trickling winter stream enhance the already beautiful bush environment. There is a short path to the water and a dingy can be secured right at the edge of your property ready to fish the bountiful waters of Wilson Inlet.

The home is simple and neat and offers good accommodation downstairs with three bedrooms plus a large multi-purpose room that can serve as a guest bedroom or lounge area.
Upstairs the kitchen, meals and living all enjoy stunning bush and water views completely uninterrupted by other buildings. A mezzanine level provides even better views and would make a great study. There are two opposing decks just right for a morning cuppa or evening drink.

The studio is essentially one room downstairs and one above. Water and gas could be connected to a small extension to create viable holiday letting or accommodation for guests separate to the main home (STCA).

Features include:

* 1893sqm freehold title abutting Inlet Reserve
* Easy care yard and gardens
* Mesmerising and ever-changing water views with direct access to inlet
* Garden shed with concrete floor (no power)
* Bush setting yet only minutes from town and Ocean Beach

159 Minsterly Road would make the ideal holiday getaway or permanent residence. The potential to turn the studio into a self-contained dwelling is an obvious one and would provide great reward for a small amount of effort and expense.

If you crave seclusion and dream about living on the water's edge, you really must inspect this one. Priced for immediate sale, please contact Rob Mason or Lee Brampton on 0411 615 806 / 0400 337 315 or [email protected] / [email protected] for further information or a private inspection.

Denmark overview

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.

Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
