*Zoned R12.5/30* - Subdividable & Park Views

A Big Block and a Bold Opportunity

This generous 815sqm (approx.) slice of prime Perth hills’ paradise delivers the ultimate subdivision prospect in a location everyone wants a piece of.

Elevated, established and brimming with potential, it’s a rare chance to capitalise now or create something extraordinary for the future.

Meanwhile, the existing 4 bedroom 1 bathroom home – perched directly opposite the lovely Davies Park – is far more than just a placeholder, offering flexible, family-friendly living you can enjoy straight away. With a versatile nursery or dressing room and a shimmering below-ground swimming pool ready for when next summer rolls around, you can settle in, rent out or plan your next move at your own pace — the choice is all yours.

There is heaps of room to laze around the pool on the paving, with a separate poolside cabana also paved and the ideal spot for sitting and quiet contemplation. The sprawling backyard – pool, cabana and all – is overlooked by a spacious pitched outdoor patio-entertaining deck.

Inside, a light and bright open-plan living and dining area is graced by split-system air-conditioning for climate control, a ceiling fan, stylish light fittings and an impressively-renovated kitchen – boasting double sinks, subway-tile splashbacks, quality stainless-steel range-hood and dishwasher appliances and a standalone gas-cooktop/oven combination.

All four generously-proportioned bedrooms have their own ceiling fans, whilst the master seamlessly connects to the adjacent nursery, walk-in dressing room or potential study – it’s completely up to you.

A sleek white fully-tiled bathroom has been modernised to include a bubbling spa bath, a separate shower, a central powder vanity and a glass-brick feature wall. The separate laundry plays host to tiled splashbacks, over-head and under-bench storage cupboards and French-door access out to the garden, for drying.

Accompany opportunity here is location – and a fantastic one at that, close to the new Forrestfield-Airport public-transport link. Excellent schools (including Maida Vale Primary School), shopping, bus stops, the Hillview Public Golf Course, major arterial roads and the heart of Kalamunda’s much-loved town centre are all nearby, as are a host of majestic National Parks.

This is a block that means business. Pure parkside bliss awaits!

Maida Vale overview

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.

Life in Maida Vale

Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
