Flourish In Nature's Playground

Sometimes, when a property is advertised 'with views', it's from a certain vantage point on a top-storey balcony, or if you manage to hang precariously off the shed roof and almost look around a corner. Not so with this property, where you're so blessed for incredible views from every room, we'd even bet you'll start taking them for granted after a while. In fact, even doing the dishes at the kitchen sink offers the kind of panorama that could easily be mistaken as a painting. Here, you're nestled in the treetops thanks to a home design that fully maximises the outlook of the elevated half-acre block, meaning a spectacle of landscapes across the trees, scarp, and all the way to the city.

Multi-level living inside showcases a unique, Hills character home with space for families and opportunities galore to make it your own. Work with the solid bones, the archways, raked ceilings, and the considerate design of the layout. The kitchen has already been modernised and the bathrooms have been given a makeover, but you can turn the two living areas into the kind of family room or music studio or library you've always dreamed, and the study could easily be a 4th bedroom with the most enviable setting in WA. With Summer on the horizon, you'll want to knock off early to enjoy the pool and pretty entertaining area complete with festoon lighting, invite your friends; there's undercover parking for everyone and a choice of two covered entertaining areas.

Boya is the kind of spot in the Hills that folk dreaming of a tree change picture in their minds. This home happens to be in one of the most desirable streets in Boya too, with the bonus of two truly one-of-a-kind rock formations - one with a 270 degree view of the city from a comfy spot on top. Need more nature? Mountain Quarry, a fantastic hike, is right around the corner and mountain bikers will be thrilled with the Goat Farm a short peddle away. Pop to Darlington next door and visit the winery or choice of great cafes or head down the hill to Midland in less than 10 minutes flat. Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
