Dreaming of living in Australind?

Then you must take a look at this fabulous five-bedroom, two-bathroom home resting on a spacious corner block, elevated from the road and walking distance to everything, schools, shops and the estuary!!

Sick of seeing all the cookie cutter homes? Then this quirky 80's home needs to be on your viewing list with features no longer seen in modern day homes. From the front, it may appear to be a standard home, but take my word for it, it is so much more!

As you walk in the front door, the first thing you'll notice is the stunning curved wall, you don't see them anymore! Then feast your eyes on the fully sealed brick flooring, not only is it hard wearing and serviceable, but a fantastic feature in your entrance, that flows through the family living area too.

Off to the right, the spacious North facing formal lounge and formal dining, and because of the elevation the windows look out over trees and space abounding in all directions, and not a neighbour in sight! And oh, for those winter days where the room just soaks in those warm northern rays of sunshine!

Through into the enormous kitchen, there is just so much space here, so much storage, and so much bench space too. Everything you could need to cook up a storm. With 900mm* induction hot plate, stainless steel wall oven and matching dishwasher, not only under bench cupboards but overheads as well, and again that versatile hard-wearing floor, that looks amazing. I've only ever seen this in a home once before, and the owner there bragged how easy it was to look after, and the kids just could not kill it.

Off the entry, an enormous open plan family living area that flows through from front to rear, past the kitchen and out to the outdoor living. Being the centre of the home, the family room boasts a woodfire and ceiling fan for year-round comfort, a fantastic zone for the kids to hang out in their own space.

This huge area opens out to an enormous alfresco area sheltered on one side by the double garages, and a small retaining wall that leads up to a second space offering a gabled alfresco and boarded by easy care gardens, making this an inviting space for all year round entertaining. I should mention that it's not a conventional spot as it features quirky Aztec designs & feature bush poles, forever a conversation piece while entertaining with family and friends. The backyard is such an awesome outdoor area, private, quiet and tranquil, an ideal spot to wind down after a busy day! Oh, did I mention we have fruit trees here as well, pear, apple, lemon, mandarin, lime, and even a passionfruit vine!
This multi-level home will intrigue you… from the entry you step up to the bedrooms, firstly the master bedroom, a spacious room with an updated ensuite, a truly lovely room, functional yet classy, with double vanities and plenty of storage.

The three minor bedrooms are all a generous size and could hold queen size beds. Then of course the fifth bedroom, or study, whatever you need it to be. At the rear of the home, the second bathroom and laundry with easy access for all and the bonus of being just off the outdoor living for summer entertaining.
It's so nice to see a home that offers space for the whole family, something a little bit different and not that stock standard home you see everywhere else, a home that offers quality, an amazing location and close to everything.

Australind overview

The town of Australind is located on the shores of Leschenault Eastuary, 165 kilometres south of Perth and 12 kilometres northeast of Bunbury. The Company purchased 103,000 acres on Leschenault Inlet, and named the settlement proposed there "Australind", a combination of Australia and India.
