Magic in Magnificent Mahogany Creek

Welcome to this pocket of possibility in the delicious Mahogany Creek; a little spot so charming, so wildly underrated, you'll want to have it stay a best kept secret. This gorgeous land is well over an acre of fresh starts, bold dreams, and the kind of wide-open space that's rare to find anywhere this close to everything. Zoned R5 with subdivision potential, this is where to build your dream home and dream lifestyle. And speaking of a dream home, thanks to a generous 40+ metre frontage and a depth of over 120 metres this block is practically begging for a home as large as your vision. From a statement entryway with rustic pillars or a modern homestead with wraparound verandahs, you've got room for it here. Plus a pool, workshop, veggie patch, tennis court - whatever you want!

If you're dreaming of something bigger, or more out of the box, this block has that zoning and the depth to make it a reality. Subject to council and WAPC approval, there's the potential to subdivide and build two homes, each on their own title. Build a luxurious dual-living setup or go all in on a multigenerational family haven where everyone gets their own space but still can come together to share morning coffee and evening fireside wines. It's rare to find land this flexible, private, and well-located and because this beauty is already titled, you can get cracking right away. All services - power, water, phone - are already available and with bushland charms such as a seasonal explosion of wildflowers and some of the best walking trails around just down the road, you'll never forget you're living in the Hills' prettiest hideaway.

Mahogany Creek overview

This suburb takes its name from Mahogany Creek, a picturesque tributary of Jane Brook which flows through the area. The creek was known by this name as early as 1830, and takes its name from the towering forest through which it flowed (mahogany was the early colonial name for Jarrah). This place is well known from "The Old Mahogany Inn" located here, an early colonial wayside inn, formerly known as the "Prince of Wales" Inn. The area was developed as orchard land in the 1890's, and a railway stopping place was established here in 1891.
