Flourish In Beautiful Boya

Looking for a special place where your family can plant deep roots and create the kind of memories your kids talk about with their children? This 5 bedroom gem in beautiful Boya offers the kind of lifestyle that's hard to find and even harder to leave. Surrounded by nature with National parks and creek walks but only a quick drive to Midland or the airport, this is a brilliant blend of peaceful Hills living and everyday convenience. Besides the highly coveted location, the updated home itself offers character and comfort. The spacious lounge boasts a log fire and charming bay window, can you just imagine yourself there with your favourite book? The central kitchen has an expanse of prep space for the growing family, a breakfast bar, and flows into an open-plan dining area complete with built-in cabinetry. Sort out family meals and homework in one go!

You'll also really enjoy the flexibility of this layout. Because although the main bedroom comes with a walk-in robe and pretty bay window, the second bedroom is also large enough to be transformed into a main suite, too. The current owners always intended to install a new ensuite adjoining one of these two rooms, which would be a fantastic addition for your To Plan list. Two more secondary bedrooms come with double robes while a fifth offers the versatility to use as a home office or nursery. Thanks to an updated laundry, ducted air conditioning, and a solar hot water system, much of the hard work has already been done, so you can get on with throwing a housewarming, letting the kids negotiate on who gets which room, and perhaps focusing on making it truly your own by adding that dream ensuite when the time is right.

Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
