Behind its classic beach-house character, the home has been beautifully renovated inside and immaculately presented, the home offers a fresh and welcoming interior that blends comfort with charm. The two main bedrooms are inviting and restful, the living area feels warm and relaxed, and the renovated kitchen is both stylish and practical. Full of character and coastal nostalgia, the flexible third bedroom can also be used as a sunroom, and connects through to the bathroom, shower and laundry area. The large block is one of the property's greatest attractions. Adding even more appeal is the charming outdoor gazebo, nestled within the garden - a lovely spot for slow mornings, long lunches, sunset drinks or relaxed gatherings with family and friends. It is a property that invites you to spread out, entertain, garden, tinker in the shed, or simply sit back and enjoy the serenity.
And then there is the location. Positioned in the much-loved seaside town of Lancelin, you are only moments from the beach, shops, school, jetty, tavern and the iconic dunes. Lancelin is a coastal town located on the west coast 127 kilometres north northwest of Perth. It derives its name from the nearby Lancelin Island which was named by the French expedition under the command of Captain Baudin in 1801. The name honours P F Lancelin, scientific writer, author of the World Map of Sciences and works on the planetary system and analyses of science.
Interest in the Lancelin Island area in the late 1940s for camping and as a port for the lobster fishery resulted in a townsite being declared in 1950. Lancelin was not considered a suitable name, and "Wangaree", an Aboriginal word for fish was chosen when the townsite was gazetted. Although the official name was Wangaree, local usage was Lancelin, and in 1953 the Gingin Road Board requested the townsite be renamed Lancelin. The name change was approved in 1953 and gazetted the following year.
