Perched along the upper floors of an established complex that is centrally located close to absolutely everything, this neat and tidy one-bedroom one-bathroom apartment will pleasantly surprise you with just how comfortable it actually is - and will also interest the likes of astute investors, with it being currently tenanted until May next year.
Generous rental returns aside, this charming pad benefits from pleasant leafy views from almost all of its windows, as well as a breezy open-plan living and dining area that doubles as the main hub of the layout. Sitting adjacent is a functional kitchen-come-laundry space with a gas-upright cooker, a washer recess and ample built-in storage options.
The large bedroom is nice and separate for privacy, whilst the bathroom is brilliant in its simplicity and plays host to a shower, vanity and toilet. Externally, its own allocated single carport parking bay only adds to the apartment's overall appeal.
The nearest bus stop and dog park are both just a short stroll away, with several schools, shopping at Dog Swamp, Flinders Square and The Mezz in Mount Hawthorn, lush local parks, community sporting facilities, golf courses, cafes, restaurants, the freeway, the coast, the city itself and the surrounding entertainment hotspots of Mount Lawley, North Perth, Leederville, Subiaco and Northbridge all merely a matter of minutes from your doorstep in their own right. Track propertyThe first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
Joondanna contains a number of small shops to cater for daily grocery needs. The largest park within the region surrounds the water tower on Roberts Street and Albert James Park also provides for passive recreation. Joondanna also contains a primary school and a home for seniors.
