Trott on down to the heart of the Perth Hills

From the moment you step inside this spacious home, it is very apparent just how much the current owner has loved and cared for this house. It oozes warmth and has a wholesome family home vibe. It has been kept in pristine condition and the owner's clear style and care shows up as a house looking like it has been professionally staged. This belongs to an owner with an obvious love for their home.

As you enter the home, you are greeted by a large living room which has the space for additional dining or just a hobby space. The master suite is at the front of the home next to the 5th bedroom/study, or it would make the perfect nursery. Split system air conditioners throughout the home will keep you cool in summer and a wood burner stove will keep you cosy in winter.

To the rear of the home is a huge open plan kitchen-living-dining space which opens out onto your huge patio area. The kitchen is spacious with a large pantry and shoppers entrance from your double garage. Sliding doors from this area lead you out into your patio area complete with cafe blinds and an elevated view to admire the beautiful WA sunsets.

The patio area has poured concrete with a limestone look which makes the area look slick and modern. Wooden stairs lead to a large lawn area (which may need a sprinkle of water) and a shed for your tools, if the double garage isn't enough for you.

Bedrooms 2,3 and 4 are tucked away at the back of the home with the family bathroom and laundry. This home is spacious and has a functional layout to make it the perfect family home.

Feel free to reach out to arrange your private viewing.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.

Life in Lesmurdie
