Not only is this home one of the absolute CLASSICS for its time, but the land it stands on also comes with some of the greatest development potential in Forrestfield.
Introducing number 13 Northumberland Road, Forrestfield. This home was originally built in 1966, so it comes with all that 1960's character and charm - but with a twist - because it also has a funkadelic 1970's games room extension too, complete with a retro bar, and access to the gabled patio. Groovy!!
The kitchen and bathroom are not 1960's though, both having been renovated much closer to the present day. And the laundry has been retiled too!
The location is excellent. The home is encircled by multiple shops, Forrestfield Primary School, parks, a golf club, a skate park and more - all within about a 500 metre radius (as the crow flies - and boy do they fly!)
The HUGE 1,002 square metre block is truly a case of: "they don't make 'em like this anymore".
You get to enjoy space that is usually shared by 3 or 4 houses.. which incidentally is also an option too.
Because the zoning here is R25/40 and there are literally SO MANY OPTIONS!!
You can retain and build in a variety of ways, or go full developer and create 3 or 4 new blocks if you choose. We've included some fun examples in the photo reel but please note, all these options are suggestions only and would require you to get permission from the City of Kalamunda or the WAPC.
Great Features Include:
• Bore water reticulation
• Solar panels
• Games room with bar
• Gabled patio entertaining area
• EPIC avocado tree
• Floor boards (we suspect jarrah)
• Updated kitchen and bathroom
• 1,002 sqm zoned R25/40
• BIG shed/garage
• Brilliant location!
Don't wait!
It's time to call The Mitchell Brothers!

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
