Discover another way of living one of peace, one of seclusion and one with nature. If you want to get close to nature this is one home that makes you feel as if the vail between you and the outside world is seamless.

Although not a big home the space that is here is generous and intimate comprising of two large bedrooms one with a split level loft, one bathroom, study nook, central kitchen and dining with celestial light filled windows a sunken snug with its own pot belly stove the ideal space for cosy winter nights and an adjoining lounge / second dining room that flows effortlessly to the timber decked patio. Another large timber deck is adjacent to the laundry offering further outdoor chillout zones to admire the views or the ideal clothes drying area.

It's hard to express into words the natural surroundings of this property as they are absolutely awe inspiring and a credit to mother nature with its bus size granite boulders, tranquil native outlook and eucalypt scented aromas not to mention a little help from mankind with its stunning clover shaped below ground pool that has been perfectly integrated into the hillside. Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
