Welcome to a home that offers space, comfort, and a peaceful semi-rural lifestyle just minutes from town. Located approximately 4.5 kilometres from the heart of Denmark, this substantial brick and iron residence is set on tranquil parkland-style grounds and offers everything you need for relaxed family living. With 300sqm under the roof, it's a home built for both functionality and flexibility.
Inside, you'll find four generously sized bedrooms, each fitted with built-in robes and newly laid carpet for a fresh, welcoming feel. The large open-plan living area forms the heart of the home, featuring tiled flooring for easy care and a seamless flow between kitchen, dining, and lounge. The north-facing sunroom is an inviting spot to relax in the sunshine or enjoy the garden outlook year-round. A formal lounge offers a second living space, perfect for entertaining or creating a quiet retreat. The dual-access wood fire adds cosy warmth in the cooler months, radiating heat into both the family room and formal lounge.
The kitchen blends rustic charm with modern convenience. Beautiful Jarrah timber cupboards and trims provide warmth and character, complemented by a brand new gas cooktop with an electric oven-ideal for those who love to cook. Instant gas hot water adds further practicality, while the quality craftsmanship in the Jarrah finishes carries throughout the home in the door frames and dado trim.
Outside, the property is equally impressive. There's a 12m x 8m shed for all your storage or workshop needs, plus a carport under the main roof for secure parking. A fully fenced chicken enclosure is perfect for those seeking a self-sufficient lifestyle, supported by a substantial 100,000-litre rainwater tank. With open parkland surrounds, room to move, and a quiet rural atmosphere, this property offers a rare combination of space, style, and convenience-all within easy reach of Denmark's shops, schools, and community amenities.

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.
Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
