Gain A Fresh Perspective

One of the best parts of moving to the Perth Hills is the promise of a beautiful view. So what's even better than that? The opportunity to build your ideal home that showcases the already stunning outlook from your property! This block offers just that, and with oodles of space (over 3000sqm, in fact) you can build up, out, and in all directions. Pick your design and you're halfway there already.

There's plenty of established trees and plants on the property already so if you're seeking a natural bushland feeling you can easily work with what's there and, bonus, keep attracting native wildlife to your yard. Construct a split-level pole home and take advantage of the views across to the horizon; imagine morning coffees on the balcony, accompanied by birdsong, and drinks as the sun sinks into the horizon and the twinkling city lights dot the landscape.

Features Include:

·  3004 sqm (3/4 acre)
·  180 degree views of the City & coastal plains - North & South - across to Gooseberry Hill
·  Elevated, sloping land suits pole, split level style home
·  Levelish area for home site
·  15 minutes to Perth airport
·  10 minutes to Midland
·  30 minutes to Perth CBD
·  Great schools close by
·  Close to bush trail reserves

Another major drawcard here is the proximity to schools, cafés, and a dizzying array of hiking and biking trails in the nearby reserves and national parks. So if you're the adventurous type or you love getting out and about in nature with the kids, this is an ideal location. Despite the seclusion and peace, access to Roe and Great Eastern Highways is easy, meaning trips to the coast, city, and further up the hill are on the cards. So no matter your lifestyle, you can make this prime piece of property work for you.

Don't miss out on this breathtaking view.

Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
